Marketing Compliance Specialist

We are currently seeking a Marketing Compliance Specialist  to join our team of professionals. This is a Temporary - Full-time assignment up to 6-months with the opportunity to convert to a regular full-time role in Q1 2025. Multiple positions available!

 

You will be responsible for review and approval of marketing collateral; ensuring compliance of legal, regulatory, and branding guidelines; maintaining checklists and documentation; and supporting other projects as requested.

 

Our “ideal candidate” is an individual who has experience in compliance, marketing, proofreading, and campaign execution; has experience with creative review for direct marketing promotions; and has a proven ability for attention to detail, making decisions and effectively meeting deliverable expectations and deadlines.

Responsibilities for this opportunity include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Conduct timely reviews of client’s sales assets.
  • Manage and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines and deliver on promises.
  • Manage submissions per month depending upon asset complexity, queue volume expected metrics and goals.
  • Interpret client’s business guidelines and policies to ensure that copy and disclosures comply with legal, regulatory, and branding guidelines. 
  • Consult with Marketing Managers to communicate errors, rationale, required actions, and approvals articulately both orally and in writing.
  • Prepare compliance review checklist and maintain submission database with required documentation.
  • Maintain project status in excel spreadsheet/tracker.
  • Lead projects and identify and initiate solutions and process improvements and key initiatives to completion.
  • Resolve problems with minimal supervisor support.
  • Support other projects/initiatives as requested.

In addition, our "ideal candidate" has the following skills & experience:

  • College Degree from an accredited college or university, or 5-7 years of professional experience in lieu of college degree required
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills. Ability to deliver high-level quality work.
  • Interpretation of information and decision-making skills to make judgements and determine if guidelines apply.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate questions, directions, and solutions clearly and effectively. 
  • Strong ability to effectively manage own submissions to meet deadlines, deliver on promises, and ensure own productivity is aligned with volume and capacity expectations.
  • Strong follow through.
  • Confident working in “gray space” and on new concepts and approaches.
  • Analytical thinking skills and understanding of data relationships. Ability to think critically without the benefit of established procedures and guidelines.  
  • Handle complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Ability to influence at all levels without direct authority.
  • Ability to work independently and as a strong team player. Strong proven success collaborating with team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changing client needs and maintain a positive, can-do attitude under pressure.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize projects in a deadline intensive environment.
  • Strong organization skills.
