SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2025 – ENGINEERING (Remote)

Adstra’s Summer Interns work alongside and are mentored by some of the industry’s top influencers and marketing solutions experts.  Interns will work on two types of initiatives; the first type will be focused on area specific business solutions and the other is a company cultural initiative.

 

Summer Interns are competitively paid.  This is a full-time opportunity and is scheduled to run from June through the beginning of  August.  This is a remote based, highly interactive, and collaborative role. The Engineering team at Adstra is responsible for building all infrastructure and data pipelines for our Data and Identity platform, our data attribute products, our digital audience products - which play a key role in the AdTech and MarTech industries, and our Adstra platform integrates with many of the top AdTech platforms in the industry to include DSPs (Demand Side Platform), DMPs, mobile media, and Connected Television advertising platforms.

 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern to join our summer intern program. Our “ideal intern” should be naturally curious, detailed oriented, have a sharp analytical mind, proficient with a variety of cutting-edge toolsets, a penchant to drive efficiency through automation, and ability to communicate.  

 

As an Engineering Intern you will be exposed to all roles and functions within the Engineering team and the opportunity to learn about Big Data and Cloud infrastructures. You will work closely with other Principal Engineers, Product Managers, Data Engineers & Data Scientists. Here you will have the opportunity to work on new project initiatives both with other team members and independently.  In addition, you will be part of a team that will help shape Adstra’s culture.

As an Engineering Intern you will:

  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture;
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements;
  • Build analytics that utilizes the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into various key business performance metrics;
  • Maintain and support existing platforms and evolve to newer technology stacks and architectures;
  • Build tools and services to help our delivery and product team be more effective.
  • Participate in the Adstra’s intern team project.
  • Additionally, the intern will support other engineering initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications, skills and experience that will assist in your success:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in a technical area (Computer Science, Engineering or related field);
  • Minimum overall GPA of 2.8+ preferred;
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, etc.;
  • Good communicator and capable of working in a fast environment;
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills;
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
