Data Management Analyst

We are seeking an Data Management Analyst, to join our Data Operations team.  Our ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, possesses sharp analytical skills, is proficient in various cutting-edge toolsets, and excels in communicating with internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for performing Merge/Purge process functions including data hygiene, data merge/purge, campaign reporting, instruction review/implementation and panel splits. This role works with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Account Management, Marketing Analytics, and Data Processing Operations.

Responsibilities for this opportunity include, but are not limited to:

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Internal Client Interaction – provide full support to colleagues from other areas in the company, specifically Sales and Account Management.
  • Campaign Tracking
  • Receive and create campaign LOL (List of List) document
  • Log activity and communicate campaign progress
  • Inbound data prep
  • Import files from client house files and rented vendor lists.
  • QC, format, and ‘map’ data files.
  • Code and combine data.
  • Standardize and Parse
  • CASS process data to USPS standards, add postal coding.
  • Map and parse name, title, and company name elements.
  • NCOA
  • Process all data through NCOA (National Change of Address) service.
  • Merge Processing
  • Set up and processing merge/purge campaign using Adstra merge processes
  • Create merge/purge reports
  • Communicate merge results to internal stakeholders.
  • Perform and ensure compliance with established QA processes.
  • Deliver mail file to co-ops

  • None

In addition, our "ideal candidate" has the following skills & experience:

  • Passion for all things data and data-driven solutions.
  • Analytical and results driven with extreme attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, quick learner, collaborative problem-solver
  • Ability to operate in a fully remote work environment
  • Reasonable understanding of relational databases, ETL tools, data conversion and data cleansing methodologies and File Transfer Protocols.
  • Experience with technologies, such as Redpoint, Alteryx, FirstLogic, is preferred
  • Experience with Project Management software (e.g. Jira) is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to tell the story behind the data and/or processing workflows

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in data management, data delivery, or a related field.
